 Not all feedback is feedback

Sometimes it’s control dressed up as a KPI.

Here’s how you know the difference:

  1. Good feedback focuses on behaviour. Gaslighting focuses on your personality.
  2. Good feedback helps you grow. Gaslighting makes you doubt you were ever good at your job.
  3. Good feedback is clear. Gaslighting is full of fluff like “optics” and “energy.” (You’re not a scented candle, babe.)
