Sometimes it’s control dressed up as a KPI.
Here’s how you know the difference:
- Good feedback focuses on behaviour. Gaslighting focuses on your personality.
- Good feedback helps you grow. Gaslighting makes you doubt you were ever good at your job.
- Good feedback is clear. Gaslighting is full of fluff like “optics” and “energy.” (You’re not a scented candle, babe.)
