Hailing from a principality state in Northern England where botox, filler & fake tan are state recognised religions (Liverpool), Clare is a wiley old scouser and believes that most organisations promote an unwitting facade of meritocracy but in truth the system is broken mainly because it was designed for and by men over 100 years ago.

Clare thinks we can do better for our women and the best kind of help is self help. Being a self confessed lefty (aka known for going on drunken rampages in her uni days with a broom handle and chanting “people unite”), she thinks we should share all of our collective knowledge and experiences to support each other to make this change.

Clare has 15 years experience working in senior commercial positions with some of the Europe’s largest retailers (Aldi, Lidl, Sainsburys, Morrisons), knows about being profitable and buying smart.

Part term vegetarian, full time goth Katie May has fifteen years of senior design experience working at the biggest names in online fashion in Europe (ASOS, H&M, M&S & WGSN)

Katie May is a passionate advocate for sustainability, believing having a sustainable brand strategy creates a more resilient and successful brand. She is experienced in building comprehensive brand strategies that are commercially minded but also address environmental, social and ethical issues.

Katie May is an expert in boosting brand awareness, lead generation, conversion optimisation and developing a clear, compelling message that resonates with customers.

Meet Laura, affectionately known to Clare (but literally no-one else) as "Laz".

With a kick ass career lasting nearly a decade in corporate marketing, Laura's journey took a pivotal turn when redundancy unlocked the fiery entrepreneur within her. Seizing the opportunity with both hands, Laura, alongside her partner, pioneered the slashie lifestyle making money here and there and everywhere using her skills and experience gained in corporate.

Alongside raising two wonderful children, she co-founded Goodwin Tennis, transforming it from a side hustle into a thriving holistic lifestyle business. Under her strategic marketing expertise, Goodwin Tennis saw a tenfold increase in revenue, earning Laura recognition as a finalist in numerous business awards and touching the lives of thousands with its positive impact.

At W-Collective, Laura is set to ignite this same magic, aiming to amplify our reach and profoundly influence countless more by melding her rich tapestry of experiences with our core mission. Laura's vision? To not just elevate W-Collective's presence but to ensure every individual we touch feels empowered, educated, and inspired to unfold their potential. With Laura at the marketing helm, we're not just spreading a message; we're nurturing a movement.
